Almost everyone has heard of the bean bag chair, the casual, comfortable pseudo furniture hugely popular during the late 1960's, early 1970's and again in the mid 1990's (about the same time the Pet Rock made a revival). Bean bag chairs are essentially made up of a fabric shell filled with small chunks of PVC pellets or Polystyrene beads, also known as Styrofoam, which are stiff and crushable, easily losing their original shape and utility. Everyone remembers bean bag chairs as being fun but not necessarily comfortable and long-lasting. After only a couple of years use, the “beans” within a bean bag chair will become compressed and need to be refilled in order to re-shape the bag. On average, a bag of refillable “beans” can retail anywhere from $20 up to several hundred dollars, depending on how much you need to refill your bean bag chair.
Wouldn’t it be great to have a bean bag chair that provides the fun, utility and comfort while at the same time remains un-crushable, and doesn’t need refills? While that’s not possible in a bean bag chair specifically, there is something even better. Foam Floor Bags, available exclusively at the FoamSource, are filled with a patented and formulated blend of latex, memory foam and high density polyurethane foam. Urethane foam is the same material used in quality sofa cushions, but in order to experience maximum comfort, the foam is shredded before filling the Foam Floor Bags. The exclusive blend of latex, memory foam and high density polyurethane foam does not break down or lose its shape as is common with bean bag chairs filled with polystyrene beads. Foam Floor Bags will never lose their fullness and never have to be refilled.
Not only do you save money by never having to refill your Foam Floor Bag, but you get ultimate comfort with the premium foam from the remnants from our custom mattress department. These remnants are the same high quality foam we use in our custom mattresses. This means our Foam Floor Bag conforms to your body while you’re sitting just like a latex foam mattress does when you sleep. There are no pressure points. It’s like sitting on air.
The Foam Floor Bags also have a built-in liner which allows you to remove the cover and wash it, unlike traditional bean bag chairs, which are not only unlined but filled with little Polystyrene beans that could potentially cause messes or safety concerns (pellets eaten by pets or children) should you try to remove the cover for laundering. The Foam Floor Bags are also surged with a Safety Lock Stitch. This type of stitch, which is a mock safety stitch, reinforces the seams by adding an extra stitch to every regular stitch - helping to extend the life of your Foam Floor Bag and prevent seam failure. Foam Source stands behind the long-lasting comfort of their entire line of products, that’s why all Foam Floor Bags come with a three-year warranty.
Foam Floor Bags, all the fun of regular bean bags without the mess, way more comfortable and never a need to refill!
